Here for the blog and to read other blogs. Facebook to post the blog posts there and on Twitter. I think I’m on Twitter the most. I don’t keep track that well to tell you the truth.

*Since this blog started out as just being for me…I don’t often mind when things are slow readership wise. But don’t get me wrong I also love the attention from readers too.
If you want attention make sure you do post to your social media outlets: facebook page, twitter, etc.
I also try and break up the straight reviews with some of the Taking Tea With tea stories I enjoy writing. But those posts aren’t the the type I can kick out in a snap. I actually research those a bit as to get the character I’m taking tea with.
I do think things pick up more when folks are stuck inside when Fall rolls in.

The most expensive would have to be a matcha I purchased a few months ago. That bad boy set me back $20 for a nice sized tin. Thankfully they now sell their matcha in sample sizes so it is a little easier on my budget.

Actually the ones I had from Target looked a lot like the one’s from Bed Bath and Beyond. Only mine were square and only came with four canisters.

I too clicked the link and there was nothing on their site. I got some canisters at Target, four total complete with scoop. I use it to keep herbs in. But it works well. I also found some at Sears too. I suggest hitting up any store with a home goods section.

Once I un-spam someone on a post they usually can post on that one post no problem. However, if they comment on a different (new) post I do have to do the process once again.

* @peter, yes I just noticed I had to again go and make @lazyliteratus not spam, and then approve his comment again.

My grandmother got me started drinking bagged Lipton or Salada tea. She put a lot of milk and sugar in those first cups we shared. We always had pb&j on toast too. It was our “thing” when she visited in the summer. Then I sort of forgot about tea when I was in college. Coffee got me through the late nights of putting off papers and projects till the last minute.
But when my husband was living with his college buddies before we were married one of them made me a cup of loose leave tea. It was from Teavana (I want to say aztec fire and mate vana) and I was in love with tea from then on. Thankfully I found places like Tea Trade and Steepster which lead to better tea and more tea friends.

My posts tend to tell a story sometimes with a tea review mixed into it. But other posts take time to work out…like the Taking Tea With _____. I’ve got one in the works. But it isn’t something I can hammer out without giving it some thought and perhaps researching the person or character a bit more.
I’ve always liked telling a story and tea tells a story…trouble is sometimes the story takes a while to turn up.

Waiting on official photos from World Tea East…I think I’m the only person who doesn’t take photos and pays attention to the rules. *sigh*

@jackie don’t get me wrong I do try out new companies. BUT usually through a promotion offering free samples on say Steepster or if a company contacts me for a review. Even after World Tea East I would have to say there are a few companies on the web I might look out for. But generally I know what I like and I know where to go to get it.

@Xavier make a good point. I’ve looked at loads of sites online, but buy from very few. I always end up returning to the same online retailers and hardly shop new online places. I’ll have to take some notes the next time it happens.

I always keep my comments as pending…I sometimes get a bit of spam on my blog…this way I can keep it tidy when I’m not there to moderate it. I have noticed that my blog will publish comments from folks I’ve already approved without my doing anything.

I’ve used my share of bagged teas. Only at work where we don’t have a proper kettle. I’m sure my water temperature has been off a time or two when prepping a cup of tea. Oh and there was that time when most of the Assam tea I was prepping ended up in the sink/on the floor…
