Jackie replied to the topic Your experiences with Bad Tea in the forum Tea Conversations 12 years, 2 months ago
@teacoupons I can see that happening if the tea is in plastic bags in a tin. Or paper bags. Or if the tea is very strongly flavored, like a Lapsang Souchong, stuffed in with an Earl Grey. What kind of scents were you mixing?

Super busy today, but will try to be on here when I can. The next couple of weeks are going to be jam packed with friends and family visiting, which is really lovely, but much still needs to be prepared for their arrival.

Welcome to @bathroidch – I give up. No, ha ha. I’ll try again: @batrachoidboggle – a brand new blogger on here, though not new to the world of tea. By the way, how did you get to that name? 🙂 His blog is here: http://sabiisphere.teatra.de/

Jackie replied to the topic Thai iced tea – a form of post-fermented tea? in the forum Tea Conversations 12 years, 2 months ago
Interesting, but that would certainly be news to me. I understand that Pu-erh is uncommon in Thailand, and I”ve not heard of other post fermented tea from there. I thought the taste comes from the spices, the […]

I suppose I needn’t feel sad that we didn’t travel anywhere this summer, I can just enjoy your travel posts. Can’t really put into adequate words how much I enjoy reading them. Even though I don’t know the area […]

What teas are you drinking at the moment @bram? Coming to think of it, I don’t think I know what teas you like best. Probably a good question for the forum too.

Terrible question. Drinking different kind of teas. Favorites are usually only temporally for a couple of weeks or so.
Usually I start the day with some black tea. Mostly Darjeeling second or autumn flush, but today I had Qimen Hao Ya. At work I also drink mostly black tea. During the afternoon I usually switch to oolong and in the evening to…[Read more]

I should not be here, I should be doing a lot of other things. Visitors are starting to arrive this week, and there’s no time for idle updates while sipping on cups of delicious oolong.
