@xavier Ok, no problem. I’ll probably end up writing another newspaper article about it in English sometime in the next few months. When it’s printed in the newspaper (and online), I’ll let you know.

@xavier I have nothing, but work with the Fuzhou Agricultural Department, so I’m keenly aware of the tea history in Fuzhou. Forgot to mention, this tea port was called Fan Chuan Pu 泛船浦.
There is a newspaper […]

@xavier that’s exactly what I meant. I wrote “bon” then suddenly hesitated because I pronounce it “bonne apres midi.” When I checked it said, both is okay in writing.

Err, nooo @xavier – even I have my limits ha ha.

@ jackie You know you made me look out and learn something in French 😉
And I am really disappointed 😉
-
you don’t mean the bon après-midi do you?
-
Yes and no.
I learned that both bon and bonne were right (or so it seems).-

No thanksgiving at this side of the world 🙂
Have not found any never fail recipes yet. -
Then I thank you. This “thing” is all about giving thanks, isn’t it?

Yes, but some would say that its about colonial repression of the Native Americans and colonialist attitudes…
But I like the part where the whole family gets together and celebrates by having a big, beautiful meal of traditional American foods. It also makes the start of the holiday season in America – once Thanksgiving comes, the whole rest of…[Read more]

Ah shoot, I missed @Xavier‘s post on it. I wasn’t on Tea Trade at the time I saw it. I actually found it from Michael J. Coffey…who – in turn – learned about it from @iheartteas.
I would like to see a […]

@xavier I think for the most part it’s exported to the US, though. I’ve tried yerba mate but I’m not a big fan of it.Here in Colombia there’s some tea plantations too, but the tea ends up as bottled and flavored […]

Just a quick thank you to @thedevotea @bram @xavier and @happygaiwan for recently starting new forum topics. Between Robert’s “Third party scorn” to Bram’s “witty” spammers to Xavier’s evil tea drinkers and Chris’ look at women in the tea industry, there’s quite a range. Of course there’s also Pete’s Debt Bondage in the Shrimp and tea industry and…[Read more]

It was incredibly valuable. Unfortunately it has been lost forever. Or until I get around to doing it again. Unless you can find it somewhere on the server- it’s title is ” Third Party Tea Scorn”
