Hi all, @supermoon10 had let me know this week that there was a problem with Tea Trade. I’ve sorted that out and you can resume drinking your cuppas as normal!

Quite some time ago – not long after I migrated Tea Trade to its new server, @supermoon10 told me that Tea Trade wasn’t storing avatars when they were uploaded. I think I finally found the problem and fixed it. If you all still are having problems, reply here and let me know.

@lazyliteratus I also found a possible workaround solution for your domain name and blog. I tested it out with the old Leafbox tea site yesterday and it seems to work okay. I’ve implemented the same method on your domain name, but because of how the internet works it takes about 24 hours for domain name changes to fully take hold. I will know more…[Read more]

Hey @peter, domain redirects seem to be working fine. “http” works fine for steep stories links, but not “https”, but that doesn’t bother me. All seems good so far.

In addition to moving the site to the new server, I’ve also made a number of other changes to accelerate the speed of the network. Tea Trade itself, as a whole, has now doubled in speed. @bram this all should be fixed now. The Tea Forums link in the main menu, is intended to take you to the forums but it is displayed as a list of recent topics instead of the hierarchy of the different forum areas. That page is at http://teatra.de/forums/ I use the recent topics display as primary though because I think it is more meaningful.

@himalayantealight I think I’d like to get tea fresh off the factory like that. That sounds like a rather special treat. How do you envision the buying and selling part of this? I assume that there would be pretty limited quantities available, but what about individual costs? Those shipping costs are reasonable, but what about the costs of the tea?

Quite some time ago, I had closed off registration to new members for Tea Trade. I did this because I had little time to manage the site and the only registrations we were getting (mostly) were spammers. I spent far too much time dealing with spammers than I did with anything else.
