Here’s a wonderful blog post by Linda Gaylard, aka The Tea Stylist “Taste’s Like Tea”, Infusions and Diatribes from the Inimitable Devotea.
She describes Robert’s “The Infusiast” book launch party in Las Vegas yesterday. Includes nice pics of Mr & Mrs @thedevotea, and glimpses of @jopj and @lazyliteratus.

@thedevotea No tea arrestable incidents? Wait until you find out the truth about Vegas and its tea bags 😉

I created a new forum area just for news from the World Tea Expo. I hope that all you attendees will post your littler things to it that don’t warrant a blog post! This is, of course for @thedevotea, @iheartteas, @jopj, @lazyliteratus and any others who I forgot to mention!

Hello to all. Exciting days coming up. World Tea Expo – attended by so many friends (but not us) – so we know we’ll have lots of good stories to read. Soon after Mr and Mrs @thedevotea will be spending a couple of days with us. That of course beats WTE hands down ; )

@thedevotea Thank you for your confidence.
However, I am sure there are other information sources like the tea associations but when I wrote to some of them (including the German one), I didn’t get an answer.
And @thedevotea I am sure there are statistics you or others have or know about that I never heard of.

Jackie replied to the topic Can you succeed by selling tea in a "Tupperware party" in the forum Tea News and Information 11 years, 5 months ago
Have our sellers here ever thought about hosting something like this? A “tea-ware” party with friends? In someone’s home offering your own teas? @iheartteas @thedevotea?
I think it would be an interesting idea to be able to taste teas and buy at a friend’s house, or a recommended agent. -

@thedevotea If anyone else fed me that line Robert, I’d feel compelled to answer that it is indeed very hard to be even less interesting than them. Practically impossible.

You know what @thedevotea Lady Devotea is right. We are not alone and we are not numerous enough to launch a trend outside our tea world.
Dehydrator? I don’t really see what this machine should look like but it […]

And @jackie or @thedevotea what/how am I supposed to be (according to the stars and your latest tea leaves read)?

@thedevotea no one is an impartial observer. The truth is between both sides of the story.

@xavier – this is a brilliant find – it’s great you shared it. I’m still reading through the document, but it’s fascinating. @thedevotea, have you read this? It’s definitely a subject you’ve always been concerned with too. @bram @cazort you immediately spring to mind too.

Jackie replied to the topic Where do you tea-socialize most online? in the forum Tea Conversations 11 years, 6 months ago
Thanks everyone for your input. Taking Tea Trade out of the equation – because we all use that, it looks like twitter probably wins. I think everyone except @Bram has a twitter account. I like reddit but rarely remember to go there. G+ seems to be very slow on the tea front. As @thedevotea said, it’s mainly for chat with other tea people, but most…[Read more]

@thedevotea no one spoke about Indian teas. They traded with Asia in general (India, China and some other countries) and they brought back tea from China (or from resellers in India or Java).
