Morning all. I’ve caught up w/ posts & dms. Will get back to you soon, if I haven’t yet. I want to highlight @bram‘s post here, so you can see these beautiful 17th & 18th century Yixing teapots in this old Dutch castle. You’d love the teaware @jopj . Have you been to any Dutch castles @lahikmajoe @vsopfables @stexonlegs?

Good morning. It’s 6 something in the morning, and I’m tired. I sleep walked to the Breville, and hit the “Make tea for me fast & help me out here” button. Looking forward to feeling wide awake. At some point.

“Just Tea?” Is tea, just tea?
@Yaya linked to this “Just Tea?” video clip on f/b recently, and I remembered I’d seen it before in German, but hadn’t talked about it. It’s pretty interesting to watch, see if you […] -

I’m in a baking mood, despite the warm weather. Here’s a great looking recipe with Earl Grey frosting! I’ve got to try this one. @jopj – this might be a recipe the foodie people on your culinary blog might enjoy too. If they want “quick baking” they can substitute with a muffin mixture, and whip up the Earl Grey topping.

Spotted on the bi-lingual “Humeur du The” blog: An interesting French/English book review of ”The Way of Tea” written by Aaron Fisher. Humeur du The has reviewed an extensive number of other tea books too, so it’s […]

I like this theme AmazonV. I think it works well with your images. As to the tea, sadly it’s the hairy bellybutton that sticks in my mind, not the fuzz on a peach, or a naval orange.

All my fingers and teapots crossed! Wait is it “that” place? I think it might be. You’d be brilliant I”m sure. I’ll give you a Tea Trade reference 😉

Why do you have to stop reviewing teas? They said you weren’t allowed to, or you wouldn’t have the time to? Have they offered you the job yet? This sounds so promising!
-
I would stop reviewing from an ethical standpoint. My impartiality would be compromised. No, they haven’t offered it, yet. I just applied today.
(Hint: It’s a place I frequent…er…frequently.)

I still feel like you could review teas somehow… I really enjoy your reviews and would miss them a great deal darn-it!

I’m perhaps getting ahead of myself. I have to actually land the job first.

French company Theodor opening up tea shops in China is pretty interesting news! @xavier I tried to find more news on that but couldn’t find any. Maybe it’s so “hot off the press” – it hasn’t even been pressed […]

Not yet made it to any Dutch castles, but I’d love to remedy that.
While the Netherlands is playing football would be a great time to visit one. Certainly more interesting than the way they’ve been playing.
