@thedevotea I believe there was Indian tea during this period, Assam tea was grown by locals but I’d understood it wasn’t sold.

@TheDevotea – The 30 second steep time was for when I was doing it gongfu-style. Moonlight is a Darjeeling oolong. I was playing around with it.

So, I’m looking forward to some Australian Tim Tams but alas no tea. Sigh. I could find my way to every T2 store in Melbourne, I looked them all up. I’d ask @thedevotea to bring me some, but I fear he doesn’t like the company.

T2 is where I often buy tea when I am in Melbourne. They are a little expensive, but I just live with that. Oriental Tea House is where I drink tea in Melbourne, they have some interesting ones as well.
Tim Tams are superb. And you can try a shooter with a milky chai – bit a little out of opposite corners of the Tim Tam and suck the beverage up through it.
