And let the envy ensue once again! When you first got into tea, I bet you’d never even have fathomed that there would be two tea farms that are so close to home.

That is a relief! I’m glad to hear that afternoon tea won’t be abolished and I have to agree with you on the window washing. Sounds like a terrible waste of tea to me.

I really loved Zealong and miss being able to treat myself to sample sizes from Chicago Tea Garden.

What a scoop! I love the new design and the tangerine salt scrub was awesome. Congrats on getting iHeartTeas on store shelves π

I LOVE the name choice π
Tealet’s teas are fantastic so I’m sure that the Japanese black is great. I’ve tried a different one that they offered a while ago and it was really enjoyable.

teaformeplease replied to the topic Can you make money as a blogger? in the forum Tea Conversations 11 years, 5 months ago
It’s definitely difficult. I’ve tried various means with my blog. Although I’m not prolific as the person who wrote the article, I do publish daily. Patnering my YouTube channel for the last two months has been the most successful so far, earning me a total of $0.94 π

I tried Lisa’s beautiful creations at Jo’s Spring White Tea and although I’m not usually one to sweeten my tea, they really added to the experience. You can tell dad that he isn’t alone because Jason indulged in them too π

Your program sounds very exciting Elyse. Authenticity is certainly key. The tea industry is changing rapidly and I think going outside of the usual retail box is going to be the wave of the future.

I’ve heard of them but don’t really have any experience with it. I get followed by a lot of their sales people on Twitter but I don’t follow back because all they ever do is tweet links to their product pages. If done right, I think a “tupperware party” style of selling tea could be very successful.

teaformeplease replied to the topic Bloggers: How often do you get word out about your posts? in the forum Tea Conversations 11 years, 6 months ago
Like Ricardo, I’m probably closest to B. I tweet my posts once as well as sharing them on Google+ and my blog’s Facebook Page. I have two newsletters, weekly and monthly digests of my blog posts.

teaformeplease replied to the topic Where do you tea-socialize most online? in the forum Tea Conversations 11 years, 6 months ago
Twitter and G+ are my top places. I’ve also been frequenting the tea board on Reddit lately. I use Pinterest and Steepster to a lesser extent. Facebook is my least favorite. I have a page for my blog but the benefits are minimal since Facebook stopped showing your posts to everyone that likes the page.
