I’ve *always* enjoyed this video. Am still touched as I watch it all the way through.
That’s it! I’m going to watch it again.

Daniel, who you all know as @imbapromotion and also writes a fascinating blog on Tea Trade about the Russian Tea Market, runs a small company and he helps businesses get started in Russia. They have had some particular success in helping a small UK tea firm make inroads into Russia.
Anyhow, here is a short promotional video Daniel uses on his…[Read more]

Tea Trade as a website and its features feel like that they’ve reached a level of parity now. I am due to install a major upgrade, but am still working through the process of installing all the various components of it. Some parts just aren’t ready yet and the developers are working on it.
I think this is basically where I want Tea Trade to be in…[Read more]

Added some exciting new themes for all Tea Trade members to use on their blogs, stores and website. Eleven new ones that are right at the leading-edge of web design – created to make websites more mobile. Will be posting an announcement on the Tea Trade blog with links to demos.

I miss the Tea Trade chat function. There’s plenty more I could be doing right now, but I still like having that as an option.
Not a complaint. Just wanted you to know that its absence was noticed/remarked on.

I miss it too! Don’t worry, Pete knows what it means to Tea Traders – although it’s nice you mentioned it. The current chat “system” was measurably slowing down the loading of the site, so Pete temporarily took it off. He has plans to go with a different “provider” which won’t affect performance like this. The chat function is a separate…[Read more]

Noted. I hear you @lahikmajoe – !!
I go back and forth with our current chat service. We pay a lot of money to use it and access it, and it is a good service in terms of features; but, it is damn slow. It actually doubles the load time of the entire Tea Trade main site. Last week when I was timing things down to the millisecond – I was getting…[Read more]

I shall follow that up with a “YUS!” and a fist-pump. It was never my intention to ruffle feathers – just to laugh and share a laugh. Tea is about camaraderie by way of cup. It’s about “peace of mind”, not “piece of my mind”. In all honesty, the internet is the only place I […]

Did a little bit of styling on the marketplace tonite to give a cleaner look. Still more work to do, but it’ll require some more significant coding. It was @Jackie‘s idea and a good one too!

Some time ago, I made a necessary pit stop to The Jasmine Pearl , a teashop owned by a very nice couple in Northeast Portland. I had been in before, and they were one of the few places I could pick up Yunnan-grown ” Golden Needles ” at a decent price. It was the perfect black tea, the shop was […]

NIce short vid called “Steep-time 4 Minutes”.
It’s German but there’s very little dialogue, so you easily get it either way. Just to clarify, the guy’s the tea drinker, she sips coffee and the film is about the effects of being 4 minutes behind schedule all day, due to the morning…[Read more] -
