We don’t often get the chance to share a cup with friends – no tea shops and few friends close to us who like tea. But I can relate to how lovely it is to do so. When we had tea last year with @lahikmajoe & <a href='http://teatra.de/xavier/' […]

I have to credit @jopj for finding this video and pointing me to it. It’s pretty intriguing, @peter, @xavier and @thedevotea should be particularly interested. Well, not just that trio of course. I’d not heard of […]

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I think your blends are better than any unflavored blends commercially available here on store shelves. Those “English Breakfast” teas you see in a fancy tin? Nothing on […]

I have to add another comment because I’m curious about your first picture. You mentioned to me it was a Matcha bowl. I don’t drink Matcha ever, so I am in need of some enlightenment. What are those wooden tools […]

Geoff, that you’re writing again means a lot to me. I absolutely love your blog. I feel bad knowing now that you were depressed, and we didn’t communicate much through it. I should have guessed, because you’ve […]

@iheartteas – I totally understand. I have quite a few teas like that too. I tend to brew up my “staple teas”: certain Yunnans, Darjeeling, Oolong, and of course my Vanilla tea – the ones I have I’m pretty […]

@xavier it lookeD like a wonderful and peaceful place 😛
But yes, Jo – you’re making us sad about the closing of a place I didn’t even know. However, when I looked at their website they were talking about their […] -

This lineup of @iheartteas perfume oils is pretty cool. She creates them herself, even includes a Green tea lemongrass one, a Rooibos, and a Puerh! http://iheartteas.teatra.de/store/products/

Time to catch up with the latest posts today from @lazyliteratus and @jopj – I glanced over them, saw they were excellent as usual and thought I’d save them for some tea blog reading tonight. The time has come!

“Death Star” tea ball. Artisan work by Timjo. Very cool to look at, even if I don’t actually use metal tea strainers myself. Not even silver ones like this : P

Well then, that’s sorted. Anyone who wants a nice dented “Star Wars” tea ball handcrafted by @peter just let him know.

As soon as I saw this about the upcoming closing of the Tajik tea salon in Berlin, Germany – I thought of @lahikmajoe – He’ll be sad to hear this. Thankfully we still have his nice blog post about it, with pictures too. As to the news Ken, it’s here: http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/04/25/us-germany-berlin-tajik-idUSBRE83O0Z320120425

Good morning, reading everything that’s new on here, and going through older posts too. Sipping a very large cup of Vanilla tea, some of you know that’s my morning staple.

@angrboda – You like vanilla? That must be in the Viking blood ha ha. What about salty licorice? I love salmiak lakrids. Anyway! Vanilla. I could write a whole blog post about my love for vanilla tea, and the many, many ones I’ve tried. Over here, I like Upton’s Vanilla (imported from Germany) and Adagio’s cream tea. Almost like a vanilla. German…[Read more]
