Good mornin’ all. I am so bleary eyed this morning. Stayed up way too late last night. Having some tea might help, but I’m not sure it can truly kick me in gear. I plan on heading to the gym to see if that works wonders. “Works wonders” on anything, the mind and the body. Hope you’re all well.

Morning all. Hope everyone is doing well. Well, – well enough to scribble away on Tea Trade. That’s all that matters π
-
Not all. A good cup of tea matters too π

@johnnyteacup – all I can say is “Who are you?” And I dare say; Mr Godden now has the fiercest competition. Wonder who will win the battle of the clever words? I will sat back and enjoy my cuppa with this double […]

To start with, here’s one suggestion for food/tea pairing for colleagues who eat tinned fish at their desk:
Send work pal to the boss’ office with flimsy excuse. Take a very large teabag, empty contents into bin, […] -

This is the nursery where we ordered our two tea plants from last year. The winter was harsh by our standards, so I was worried about the plants. I think one will make it, but the smaller one may not have. Will keep you posted.

It’s a rainy day here, with a little bit of sleet thrown in. Cups of tea keep me warm, but now I’m wishing I had baked a cake.
-
So bake a cake!
-
I second that (and bring me a piece ;))
-
I will give you a cup of tea for one piece of cake.
-
@bram what is your favorite cake?
-
Depends on my mood π Plain is always good, but so is chocolate or better a mix of both.
-
-
-
-
I hear your cakes are fabulous One day I will be so fortunate as to have a slice.

@jopj I will bake to order as soon as I know when you can make it down for a visit. Wouldn’t that be lovely π

I’ll come too.

The six Nations championship? I know nothing really but I wanted to see what you might be talking about? I hope the strong tea played well with watching those tough guys scramble around for the ball.

I donβt go on to Steepster but I will take a peek now! Certainly sounds like you have cause for concern Robert. As to Tea Planet, thanks for reminding me of it again @peter. I think the thumbnails need to include the state/country because there are so many tea leaves there now, that you canβt picture where which place is, unless you zoom right in.

Reminds me that I have an unopened box of their tea somewhere. Unfortunately I could only get blended tea. The seller told me that pure Tregothnan was monopolized by an English department store.
This led to the find of a follow up article just 23 hours old: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddrink/10649112/Does-Tregothnans-English-grown-tea-taste-any-good.html
