It’s too cold to do type on here, that’s my frozen excuse π
Happy New Year to everyone! I will catch up soon. As soon as we’re thawed.

Good morning everyone. It is below freezing here, but as usual snow doesnβt care much for our part of the world. Having a cuppa to console me. Howβs the winter weather for you? Yes, I know good ol’ @thedevotea is basking in his summer heat.

The warmest January 3rd since 1901. (11.9 degrees Celsius). Maybe I should try an ice tea.
-
Quite mild in Adelaide. 22 degrees C with a little rain. Doing wonders for the vegetable garden. And I have just got up (it’s a little before 6am) and am slurping a large pottery mug of Lord Petersham. And considering adding more to a post I’ve been writing since August.

Great news about the Rose Blush but what about this little clever gadget? I’d forgotten all about it, though I remember reading about it at the time. Is it commercially available here now? Love the idea of “no […]

Happy New Year to everyone. We rang in the New Year with a bunch of lovely people which was a perfect way to start off 2014. Hope everyone has a really good year and spends lots of time here on Tea Trade π How did you spend it? Quietly at home? Loudly at home? Slept through it? Partied all night?

Merci @xavier de meme! In bed still with a hot cup of Adagio’s Cream tea and some delicious little Lindt chocolates. Such a good way to start the day.

Brilliant! Love it. You should record someone singing it. Anyone in your family got a good voice? Sadly, I don’t. But I think this is beautiful. You have such a wonderful way with words. Thanks so much for […]

Busy with getting ready for Christmas. Santa Claus has asked me to help out and it can’t all be done at home with a cuppa tea. Thinking of you all!

Water and tea, same as every day. But the food, oh the food will be special! Not quite sure what we’ll have yet though. I’d love a goose but they are super expensive. Maybe roast beef instead.

Hi everyone. Rushing around doing this that and the other, much of it Christmas related. Hope everyone is well. Happy to see so many interesting new comments and posts here. For those of you who celebrate, how’re your Santa preparations coming along?

@xavier All’s well here with the forums. Maybe it was while P was working on a couple of things.

@jackie I am afraid it still doesn’t work for me.

Did you try another browser?
(no 404 here)

Here’s another interesting article about high levels of lead in Canadian teabags. “High levels in teas are a significant concern for pregnant women” via Beverage Daily.

Here’s a question for y’all inspired by something I saw on G+. Naomi (@joysteaspoon) mentioned toning down a rant recently so as not to alienate customers. That does make perfect sense but it also made me wonder, how much do you hold back? Now I know @thedevotea rants and raves away – but that’s more on his personal blog. However, does it matter…[Read more]

“Do you know what’s really in your tea?” An interesting article that’s worth a discussion. Are these companies really selling you tea that’s bad for you? Do you agree? Disagree? Do you worry about these concerns too? Is this just health humbug? Are these “crazy chemicals” dangerous?” Is organic the only answer?

Drink more tea and hold a cup of tea to warm your hands. π
Yes, that’s correct.
A good way to start the year: with a lot of tea to warm the inner and outer you π
