I have to thank Jackie for guiding me on using twitter 😀 I hesitated for a long time about using twitter, because I had no clue how to use it – I mean, what am I suppose to announce to the world every day?! :-p With helpful tips from Jackie (Jackie, probably you should write an article […]

Yeah I think the chadao article is the best review on this issue so far. Not only it cites sources, but also it actually cites valid sources (a.k.a. peer-reviewed scientific publications), which is of great […]

Yeah I think the chadao article is the best review on this issue so far. Not only it cites sources, but also it actually cites valid sources (a.k.a. peer-reviewed scientific publications), which is of great difference from many casual sources. Scientific research on tea is not perfect so far. But always better than non-scientific claims or […]

Gingko replied to the topic Tea Association USA’s ”Tea Test” (with my comments) in the forum Tea Conversations 13 years, 4 months ago
I don’t know if they updated the test. I remember when I saw the test a few years ago, quite a few questions seemed to be based on the assumption that the tea spoken of was teabag.

Very good information Peter! I rarely see complains about wordpress. In the past, I did see some articles blaming paypal. But none of them convinced me there was any other better, easier, safer alternative that provides comparable functions as paypal does. It’s easy to point out drawbacks but everything has some drawbacks. Until a better alternative […]

Charles made a good point about the caffeine in the cup of white tea in relation with the recommended steeping time and temperature. Also I think it’s hard to make any general statement about white tea, because […]

Charles made a good point about the caffeine in the cup of white tea in relation with the recommended steeping time and temperature. Also I think it’s hard to make any general statement about white tea, because white teas such as silver needle, sow mee and moonlight white are all vastly different in both leaf cell […]

gingkoseto posted on the forum topic Shipping Questions in the forum Sellers Corner: 13 years, 4 months ago
For domestic shipping, using a box may not cause a whole lot more than using a bubble mailer, as both have a start price of “parcel”. Bubble mailers have extremely limited capacity anyway. I’ve found bubble mailers good for small samples and tea in tiny pieces (CTC, yerba mate, etc.), ok but not great for […]

Yeah! I share the same feeling! And I have the same feeling about a lot of other charity events, the dressed-up, cocktail, big price-tag kind, that always make me think, wouldn’t it be easier and more efficient to simply collect money and send the money off to where it’s needed? But a friend in charity profession […]

I like Upton’s style too! An outdoor supply store that I think has similar style to Upton is Campmor.com. Their plain style of catalog convinces me that I am not paying more just for flashy marketing materials. But I have deep doubt about grocery stores being the places for good and inexpensive tea. So far, […]
