Location: Sushi restaurant.
Waitress: “Would you like anything to drink?”
Me: “Do you have any herbal teas?” (I didn’t think she would know what an “herbal infusion” or “tisane” was.)
Waitress: “We have…green tea?”
Me: “That’s…not herbal. That has caffeine.”
Waitress: “We have green tea with citrus.”
Me: “Still not an herbal.”
Waitress: “We have lemonade.”
Me: “Fine…I’ll have a lemonade.”

At least they had green tea…
Her: (thinking) “I hate herbals. And he calls ’em teas. Yuck. They’re not teas, green tea is. Then he orders lemonade instead. Wish the guy drank tea. He was cute though.”
