Hey everyone. Don’t forget to check up on what’s happening on the forum. @xavier posted quite a few interesting questions and topics on there. The thread about “unusual” tea producing countries is particularly interesting. The forum’s a great place to browse and discover new tea related posts, or share info with fellow Tea Traders. http://teatra.de/talk

Have left the boysz @lahikmajoe and @xavier behind now but only in terms of physical distance. Am further north now visiting and having a lovely time.

Our #ITTC was just amazing. @lahikmajoe is a wonderful host – he’s the lovely person you all suspect he is. @xavier is charming and fun to share tea with too. Everyone we met was so nice. We had such a great time, one fine tea after the other, and a good concert with Ken’s excellent voice. I want to write more but the update doesn’t do our…[Read more]

This weekend is the first International Tea Trade Conference. Taking place in Munich, Germany. We’ll be attending, along with a few other members of the Tea Trade community. Our French partner @xavier will ne there, as well as @lahikmajoe and many others. Should be a great time with much accomplished for the tea community!

Somehow I managed to delete @xavier‘s comment which was: “Lochan Tea?”
Anyhow, here’s my reply:
Hereβs a link: http://lochantea.com/ They are a company based in Siliguri, Darjeeling. We just received a bunch of first and second flush 2011 Darjeelings from them! Very excited about trying them all! -
jackie started a new topic Anyone sampled any Darjeeling first flush 2011? in the forum General Discussion: 14 years ago
Has anyone had any this year? What did you think? @xavier just posted this on our other Darjeeling thread but I don’t want this question to get lost at the end of a long thread. I haven’t sampled any but I’d heard expectations weren’t too high -though really I haven’t heard much at all. Anyone know […]

Hi everybody, just caught up with the latest blog posts. Am really impressed with the quality of the writing! Just wanted to highlight 2 particular bloggers whose interesting posts I can’t draw attention to on twitter, as they don’t tweet. @xavier and @mason have contributed 2 particularly interesting articles this week, and I recommend you guys…[Read more]

@agirlwithtea – What was the award winning “classic” black tea? It sounds so generic π – Also what did you think? @xavier did you go ahead and purchase any teas from MF yet? @teawench – I just received a really nice Formosa Oolong from Upton, they have a bunch of oolongs with suggested water temps of 190. Also @gingko has some […]

Drinking white tea with Vanilla that @xavier just sent us. He also included a couple of tins of Kusmi tea & a black Vanilla. It was a really lovely surprise in the mail. Thank you so much. Or even “mille fois” if you like.

Missed both @identitea and @xavier on Leafbox Tea earlier. I mean, you were there but I stopped by too late. Just wanted to say hello to you both. We should have a “who’s online” here, or a pop-up when you’re on Leafbox. The sky’s the limit so to speak.

@xavier – I redirected the domain this morning. Internet propagation takes about 24-48 sometimes. As I write this the domain is still pointing to the original leafboxtea setup. Once propagation completes, it will be pointing to the leafboxtea setup that is on the tea trade network. I removed the forum from the main menu on the old site, so if you…[Read more]

@xavier we like our Vanilla tea from Upton Tea (http://bit.ly/fT0qwf). It’s the only one that tastes right. There isn’t another company we’ve found that does it.
Upton sources theirs from Germany, and I’ve tried hard to track it down. When we lived in Germany, @jackie really like the Vanilla tea from a German brand. Her sister still sends some…[Read more]
