Having read that clariication, I am highly impressed. Well done Michele. Let me know if your mobile tea house is appearing in NYC in mid June.

Hold down the Alt Key and hit 0233 in the numeric keypad, if you are using windows. If you are not, there is no hope for you.

It was the episode where Alex helps write the US Constitution in a dream. It was interesting that in order to find it funny, one had to be aware of the text of the document. Like most Australians I have a much […]

I’ve just searched the Internet for instructions on brewing a particular tea.
Not because I wanted to know, but just because I had a shrewd idea what I might find.
And find it I did.
The first item to […]

Clarity? More like hallucinations.
I never doubted you COULD do it. It’s whether you SHOULD do it that has always been the question. -

Rachel, I’m sure you would have typed “affected” there if you’d had some tea.

Depends on the tisane, I’d say.

Ok Rachel, time for some tough love.
The post sounds like you’re on speed. Spelling mistakes, missing words. It’s like you typed it with one thumb whilst cradling and fondling a lap-full of tea tins.
And is it […] -

Thank you for the kind words, Jacqui. Of course, I’ve never found any alleged comedian less funny that Jerry Seinfeld, but I assume what you are saying to me is “If one talentless hack can score nine years on TV, […]

The madness continues.
In July, 1969 three men also went without tea for a week – 8 days to be exact.
An yet, no one remembers this. It’s not a big deal.
The three men, Mr Armstrong, Mr Aldrin and Mr Collins […] -

Amazingly, just the day after I read this, I got to a bit a Stuart MacBride novel where the protagonist travels to Poland and is offered ” herbata or coffee” . I felt amazingly smug.

Why does it not turn up on the main page? 🙁 I always assume the main page brings me all the latest. What else have I missed out on? Is it a conspiracy?
-
@thedevotea yes, it is a conspiracy of the tea bagged people. 😉
-
@thedevotea Yes see , what you didn’t realize Robert, is that you get a sort of “filtered version” of Tea Trade’s main page, and everyone else gets the unadulterated one. It’s full of Japanese green tea stories, tea bag worship, and banter about things you might not approve. @teapages thought her post would be okay for you though.

Think of it as a scientific experiment, not a feat of endurance. Cracking now and slurping on a massive cuppa is not a failure, it’s valid scientific information.

No, I had not read it but I have now! The terms were new to me. But can boiling water really break the tea leaves? Hadn’t occurred to me. I can’t quite picture that.
I always put the leaves first, not sure if they break or not : )
Yes, it’s an interesting claim. But so many tea rituals are. I’m a passionate believer in Milk In First, even though the actual necessity passed several hundred years ago, and I don’t take milk myself.
