I’m so sad that I missed out on this one but I plan to blog about the teas soon. Something told me that the Ali Shan would be my favorite and you’ve confirmed that before I even drank it 🙂

This was my favorite tea when I worked at the tea house, mostly because of the reactions that the name would get. I’ve heard a few versions of how this tea got its name. One story is that the farmer who invented […]

This was probably my favorite day at expo too. Good times were had with so many awesome people. It made the awards dinner that much more special to have all of you to cheer me on. You’re up next my friend!

Yes! I am determined to add cliffy to the tea world lexicon.
I’ve definitely noticed this same honey-nut-spicy trend in Doke’s teas. I too was filled with jealousy at the adventures of Phil and Team Tealet. […]

Great post! While I definitely have a strong preference for loose leaf, sachets are an unavoidable convenience sometimes. I keep a tea wallet in my purse and teas like this one are perfect for stowing away in […]

Valid points as always. I think in a way, I enjoy that the categories are so open to interpretation. There are so many people who don’t quite fit into a box and it’s great to be able to nominate them for something […]

You always get to hang out with some of my favorite people! It’s simply not fair 😛
Nick’s tea is pretty fantastic. I am blown away every time I drink it. If I had to drink two sheng’s forever it would be his […]

This sounds so tasty and I absolutely love the gold stars. They really add an extra special touch. Not all powdered teas are a good fit for making drinks (as I recently learned with hojicha) but it’s always fun to […]

I feel your pain! It can definitely be frustrating but I try my best to grin and bear it. Over Christmas I gave a copy of the magazine my article was in to my great aunt. She replied with, “huh, you really do like […]

teaformeplease commented on the post, Tea and Tubas, on the site Steep Stories 10 years ago
Hmm…a tuba concert. Reminds me of a funny family story. When we were kids my uncle would always call the house and tell us our mother played the tuba in marching band and that her nickname was windbag. Only when […]

Want! If WTE wasn’t restricting my tea budget I’d have bought a whole pound of this stuff by now. A roasted oolong is exactly the type of tea I wanted them to use when they first got those barrels.
