A few weeks ago @jackie bought some of this green tea from Marshall’s, TJ Maxx or one of those types of discount stores that sell third-market stuff. It was only a few dollars for 250 grams. It is sold as a “big leaf green tea” from Sri Lanka.

I have to admit that it is really good, not in a tea connessiour kind of way, but in a “lets have a good cuppa” kind of way. The dry leaves look amazing and the wet leaves are full, complete leaves. The best part is the taste and how refreshing I find it. It keep going back to it and gulping it down by the pot and I’m not even a big fan of green tea. I am a big fan, however, of affordable, good tea that fits the “daily drinker” category. It is one of those amazing teas that does and does it in spades.

It seems to be hard to get here in the states and I’m really thinking of sourcing it to make available via Tea Trade. Am working on some ideas on how to market it, but in the end, I really just want to have more of when we run out!
