I can already tell this’ll be one of my favourite teablogs.
We could use a bit of spice in the teablogging world. Welcome aboard.

Excuse me @burberryoutlet, but this is a tea drinker’s website. It has nothing to do with your product.
What’s more, I read through the text of your blog, and it’s completely meaningless. Am sure it’s brilliant when it comes to SEO, but as for any coherent thought…
Am rather positive you’ll be deleted from the site. Until then, I’d love to…[Read more]

I’m drinking Darjeeling and NOT thinking about building a scarecrow.
Well, now I am. Because you mentioned it. Am thinking of you building a scarecrow. But not me.

In the words of Vice Admiral James Bond Stockdale ‘Who am I? Why am I here?’ This place is what we make of it. I know some places on the web that’re pleasant and some that are not so pleasant. There’s no reason we can’t keep this place as agreeable as possible. I’m not going […]

Germans inferior and lawless? So not much has changed, eh?
Had missed that line the first time I read this long ago.
Enjoyed this article, but dare I say your style hasn’t become remotely mild in the intervening time. Good thing.
We need a bit of venom in teabloging, eh?

What lively discussion. I’m most intrigued by Yaya’s comments. Although we all have to start somewhere, there was that nagging question when I began blogging about tea that I simply didn’t have enough experience to write knowledgeably (something that hasn’t slowed me down in the least). At some point, I resolved that I’d write the […]

I miss the Tea Trade chat function. There’s plenty more I could be doing right now, but I still like having that as an option.
Not a complaint. Just wanted you to know that its absence was noticed/remarked on.

I miss it too! Don’t worry, Pete knows what it means to Tea Traders – although it’s nice you mentioned it. The current chat “system” was measurably slowing down the loading of the site, so Pete temporarily took it off. He has plans to go with a different “provider” which won’t affect performance like this. The chat function is a separate…[Read more]

Noted. I hear you @lahikmajoe – !!
I go back and forth with our current chat service. We pay a lot of money to use it and access it, and it is a good service in terms of features; but, it is damn slow. It actually doubles the load time of the entire Tea Trade main site. Last week when I was timing things down to the millisecond – I was getting…[Read more]

Being married has significantly interfered with my dating life.
Wish I could offer more in the name of first-hand experience, but am out of practice/commission.
I should admit though that my wife is the one who originally *turned me on* to tea.

Am glad you’ve figured out some remedies.
How many ‘social’ problems are somehow related to people not acting the way they’re expected to under normal/typical conditions? We all have moments where it should simply be tolerated that we slip off to our ‘cave’.
There. I’ve said it.

I think I went for ‘Old 72’.
If you gave me the survey again, I might vote for the same one. Solidarity. If it’s not a real tea, it *should* be.
