I love when you do this. It’s almost as if you’re taking us with you to the event.
Great photos. It’s also nice to see the products that I might not know about for months or years…

I’ve been to your Lady Devotea’s blog and she’s done quite a nice job over there.
Glad your High Tea lark went well. Hope you feel better soon.

This is beautiful Jo.
I love Renée Fleming’s voice. She’s loved pretty much everywhere, but has a special relationship with the powers that be in Munich and Salzburg, and I’m happy to say that that means I’ve […]

This is great. I think it’s too easy to come up with a firm stance on all of this. My take on the snobbery of tea is always changing.
I do enjoy the tea community, and I’ve never tried ‘cheesecake’ tea. I’d […]

Micro-blogging or not, it’s always nice to see you adding to the conversation.

This was also the day in 1913 that Igor Stravinsky’s ballet score The Rite of Spring received its premiere performance in Paris, provoking a riot.

Not entirely sure how to answer this, which is interesting because I almost always have an opinion.Despite its whimsy and sometimes haphazard appearance, I take my teablog rather seriously. Soon after I started, […]

Every once in a while, I drink a beverage with creamer. I rarely like it and in all likelihood only needed this piece of information to avoid it entirely.
Fine work there Mr Chemistry.

I love this!
You’ve taken tea blogging to a whole ‘nother level. As is your custom.
Great story and creative review and now I really want to try each blend separately and combined…objective: reached.

First of all, just the thought that this thread will soon be locked has sent me scrambling to have my say. Let’s see if I can do my little part to get it shut down.
As if I even had that in me. Really. […]

I’m going to attempt not to rant here, but it’s not easy.
Why do tea shop owners do that? Of course a person who’s new to tea won’t know many things about tea, but why that condescending look? Why talk down to […]

I went to a very good art school and was exposed to dance at an early age. They are some of the most passionate artists while simultaneously being above-average athletes. Quite impressive.

I drink a lot of Assam.
Found one several years ago at Claus Kröger in Hamburg that I still start nearly every morning with. It’s an Assam Mangalam that’s a little malty, but not too much. A bit strong, but […]
