I would hate to be that shop owner and see you darken my door once again.
The reeducation of Mount Barker, indeed.

Yes, what’s up indeed? This is not only a good blog, but a fine example of one using WordPress. I too would very much appreciate all the advice and tips you have to make some excellent WordPress magic. In answer to the original question, I’m not sure how I’d answer the question of gender and […]

Really enjoy it when you do this sort of thing. I’ve said it before, but it makes me want to raise the bar on my blogging.
Am glad you’re down there fighting the good fight.

Thanks so much for making me now want to go immediately to China. I didn’t need this today.

Because you’ve actually run an establishment, I respect your criticism much more. I know too many people who are critics of restaurant/cafe service who’ve never actually worked behind the counter. Your prediction that this place won’t last is likely prescient. Terrible places do sometimes stay in business, though. Expectations of good service are…[Read more]

I think all of the topics raised here are interesting. I’m not a good judge of what Americans are/aren’t buying because I haven’t lived there in so long, but I have seen a lack of selection in loose-leaf tea in European supermarkets. Certainly appears to be a place for potential growth. The thought that due […]

Chamomile and something to go with it? How about something else difficult to spell? Chamomile and Rutabaga? Or double the intensity of the calming influence by mixing it with Xanax? Dare I suggest Chamomile and Chlamydia? I just did, didn’t I? I’d never seen such a thorough list of so many things Chamomile will cure/solve. […]

It’s always a pleasure to read that a blogpost I’ve written has encouraged another tea lover to ponder something tea-related. I really do drink a lot of green and Oolong, but black tea has continued to be my focus. For some people new to tea, I think it might even be more accessible. Nice post, […]

Oh Robert. Am really touched. I was given a box of PG Tips last year for my birthday, and I still have most of a box left, but I’m brewing a mug and sending you, Anne, Roni and especially Danny as I drink it. What a wonderful memory. When my dad died, one of his […]
