I mentioned Mlesna Tea Castle in Sri Lanka, here’s a little video about it. What an amazing building; supposed to look like an old Scottish castle.

Here’s a link that explains why they chose to build a Scottish style castle; it’s a tribute to Scottish tea planter James Taylor who was first to establish tea plantations in Sri Lanka in 1867. Incidentally he worked closely with a certain Thomas Lipton at the time..
