@xavier Did you say the Breville model we have here wasn’t available in France but there is a French equivalent one, that you bought? I can’t remember what you wrote about your Breville? Was it marketed by a different brand?

Bravo! Not to the tea fast but to this lovely poem. Can’t believe you just came out with it like that. You probably penned it carefully weeks ago, before you even started the fast. In fact you probably have a […]

That looked like a nice place, and yes it’s sad when something like that turns into a webstore. Especially after being a brick and mortar shop for so many generations. Are there are other good places in Amsterdam that you know of?

There are a few that I know of. Formocha (specialized in China tea), ‘t Zonnetje, Wijs&zonen, of course several times Simon Levelt and a new one “Four leaves” that I have not visited yet, but where they seem to sell English tea. You know of the English type. Oh and a few china/eastern whatever food/commodities stores that also have some tea and…[Read more]

@thedevotea I expect @iheartteas is lying under the kitchen table swigging the tea straight from the pot. Last heard gulping and babbling incomprehensibly.

Can’t help wondering how @thedevotea and I will amuse ourselves once you’re back onto tea. I suppose we’ll have to think of something.

@thedevotea Did you borrow your manners from a hobo? Cut the girl some slack. She’s going cold turkey right now, how do you expect her to make perfect decisions?

@thedevotea @iheartteas Please convince TeaMoment that since she frequently comments on your blogs (hooray!) it would be great if she became a member.

Tea making alarm clock? Sounds good. Perhaps an updated version would be good. Please start working on one @happygaiwan immediately.

Good morning. Some days I wish the Breville were in our bedroom; so I’d only have to reach out from under the blankets to get a cup.

Don’t you have @peter for that… π

The point is Rachel clearly says […] -

Isn’t that quite hard to blend with, as it’s such a strongly flavored tea? Perhaps an Assam?

Drinking tea and doing some maintenance here. Marking one or two as spammers, reading posts, making sure I’m tup to date on the messages. Happy Saturday all. It’s raining here and I’m enjoying a slow start to the day.

No, I had not read it but I have now! The terms were new to me. But can boiling water really break the tea leaves? Hadn’t occurred to me. I can’t quite picture that.
