@alexkmbk – With a Darjeeling a 2013 tea would already be available, so that might be interesting to you too. Like @xavier said; many tea companies do not list the year of their teas, which I’m not happy about either. I’m always wary of tea promotions for that reason. Can’t help thinking they’re simply trying to sell off older tea quickly. There…[Read more]

We love your posts and your pictures. You’ve inspired @peter and me several times to take (tea) pics on our outings and walks. Sadly we haven’t always published them because we didn’t write the matching blog […]

Agreed; baking bread is never a chore – it’s a pleasure. As is brewing up our loose leaf tea. Your back garden sounds idyllic. Wouldn’t mind trying one of those fresh eggs.

Looks like you have a pretty good social life there Geoff. The highlight was naturally the evening with the fleece babes, but the other events sound fun too. Hope spring is turning into a good time of the year after all!

Re: making sure the water doesn’t sit too long, I agree @johndelaney. I love our Breville which allows me to set the tea to be ready when I wake up in the morning. However, the water is added the night before, so it is not freshly poured water. Sadly I can’t see a work-around. It’s either that, or no tea at the ready in the morning.

@bram = Denmark? I remember a nice post or two you wrote about Copenhagen last time, they were fun to read. Did you go there again?

@xavier – this is a brilliant find – it’s great you shared it. I’m still reading through the document, but it’s fascinating. @thedevotea, have you read this? It’s definitely a subject you’ve always been concerned with too. @bram @cazort you immediately spring to mind too.

Wasn’t it just yesterday we had our Fleece Fest? My, how time flies. It’ taken me so long to catch up. We had a lovely evening and it was particularly nice for me to meet Darlene, as I hadn’t talked to her […]

The evening was great fun, nice seeing everyone again. A cup of one of my favorite teas – paired with chocolate in my case, made for a perfect combo to chat with you all. Have you already planned your next one?

Jackie replied to the topic Where do you tea-socialize most online? in the forum Tea Conversations 11 years, 6 months ago
Thanks everyone for your input. Taking Tea Trade out of the equation – because we all use that, it looks like twitter probably wins. I think everyone except @Bram has a twitter account. I like reddit but rarely remember to go there. G+ seems to be very slow on the tea front. As @thedevotea said, it’s mainly for chat with other tea people, but most…[Read more]

When I see “cheap and…” I immediately think of cheerful. Not nasty at all. Perhaps it means I’m a very cheerful person. Either way, tea certainly contributes to my optimism. Not really all that cheap, not […]
