Sipping on Jasmine tea and reading about people submitting unsolicited screen plays. Quite entertaining, the subject merits its own script. Just for the record, we are not going into that line of business, ha ha.

I’ll let you know. Upton told me they are packing my order today. All in all we ordered about 750g of tea. Just over 26oz for those who don’t think in grams.

As I’m replying to you, I’m sipping Jasmine tea that was in that orange tin in the photo. It’s “pas mal.”

You entered Thailand with “Harrods” Tea? Good luck to you matey. Who knows what they packed into those pretty tins out there π But seriously – I hope the ordeal that marked the beginning of your second honeymoon is now over, once and for all. I agree with @lazyliteratus, used bags with creamer sounds dreadful! I’ve […]

Your artwork in your galley is lovely! Particularly the tulip pic. Would love to know more about how you developed your style, and what got you started.

I like this idea of using empty, pretty tea tins as “Container Magnets” – I even own one of these tins myself. On marthastewart.com: http://lfbx.us/mg

I’m very excited because I just bought a whole bunch of teas from Upton earlier today. On my shopping list: Several teas from Nepal, one Formosa Oolong and a few Yunnans. I’ll let you know what I thought of them of course, but I know I’ll like them all. What about you? Ordered anything recently? Who from […]

Very excited about the Nepalese tea I ordered from Upton. It was @sirwilliamoftheleaf who introduced me to Nepalese when I bought a few samples from him in our marketplace. I’m thrilled he gave us the opportunity to try these, now I’m a big fan. Can’t wait for my order to get here.

Another great aspect of tea – not often talked about – is that it is perfect for procrastination

Should work in profile page though sometimes there have been issues with large pics that need cropping. Do you have a pic that doesn’t need that? Also, you can use your gravatar if you have one. See “profile”. I’ll have Pete take a look at it tomorrow. Oh- and welcome! π

Brewed some Tie Guan Yin I picked up at an Asian store. It was too roasted for my liking, and didn’t have the subtle nuances that I like in the good old Iron Maiden.

Been busy all day. Now relaxing with a cup of Vanilla tea. But I don’t want Vanilla, I really want a fine Oolong, or a green. I’m running out of all the good stuff!

Well, that’s good news. Sort of. As to the owner of that cafe, I guess what he really means is; he can’t be bothered to clean out any loose leaves. But look at it this way, what incredibly quick thinking. Put on the spot, he immediately whipped up an excuse thus far unheard of. What […]

Hey everyone, We’ve got pretty good spammer protection on Tea Trade, but sometimes one or two manage to sneak through the barriers, and end up posting on blogs. This has caused some confusion as blog authors have inadvertently replied to these bogus posters. Here are a few tips to recognize whether or not the comment is genuine: Spammers […]

Ha ha, hilarious Robert. Oh, wait – maybe that was the wrong thing to say. A tragedy of course, what’s wrong with these people? Still, it’s not often that something so awful, makes me giggle. Of course one of the most memorable lines, a classic so to speak was: “teatra.de , possibly the worldβs most […]

Many of you already know Xavier from Leafbox Tea, or because he comments on your blog. Was stoked to see he set up his own tea blog here. Tea & economics = Teaconomics. Another blog by someone in Europe. Take a look and I’m sure he’ll be thrilled if you drop him a line. I know he always follows your articles. http://teaconomics.teatra.de/

Rachel (@rachanac) recently mentioned our growing members list. Just wanted to thank everyone for their support! One great way to increase our numbers is to tell our friends where to find us; right here on Tea Trade. The more the merrier, and the merrier, the better the tea! π

Unsolicited screen plays?
It’s a long story, a tale of Hollywood, friends, and other loony things.
Strange.
