@sirwilliamoftheleaf Can’t say I’m overly excited about the rising number of RTD teas. Partly because I don’t really like cold or iced tea much, and partly because I think it’s “pop” culture tea. A Jersey Shore version of my favorite brew. However, maybe it’s better than drinking cola, though even that depends. Like you I’m surprised about […]

You’ve inspired me plenty too. To look up some of these dishes you mentioned and get cooking. I know I’d love all of these culinary delights you list. Now if only you lived a lot closer so you could just serve them up for us too. And that Daintree? I still want to try it! […]

But when you’re really “addicted” do you ever not have enough room? Unfortunately we’ve got plenty of space right now because we’ve drunk almost all the good teas.

Xavier posted this ad on his “update” which he found mentioned on Mlle The’s blog . I thought it deserves its own post. it’s pretty intriguing. To me it actually looks more like a perfume promotion, than an ad for tea. Not quite the same look as the tea commercials we see over here. If and when […]

Was up far too early but got things done. Time for some more tea now! I’m running short of my Upton, there won’t be enough to last me until they get back from their vacation. So now what?

Well, I don’t drink coffee, so I barely remember what the stuff tastes like. Probably never had more than one or two sips all my life. However, what makes this “coffee” Ersatz rather than “Tea Ersatz”? Or some sort of Tisane? It comes in a tea bag, and it’s got herbs in it? Is that […]

We’ve got a great discussion going on @wifeywoman‘s blog, but the article links and thoughts are worthy of their own forum post. For those who think white tea has very little caffeine, read this. For those who are in the know, read this anyway. It’s a very interesting post with a lot of good links to […]

Just a thought; do most of you have your “Activity” stream set to “All members”? Just chatted with someone who was looking for an overview of everything that goes on here. If you set your activities to “all members” you’ll get info on all new blog posts, updates etc. It can be a lonely world if you’ve only got it set to yourself, or a couple of…[Read more]

Guys, I posted this in the activity stream yesterday, but since you’re all updating away, it’s moved further down. I want to revive it. The guy should have a cult following, category “one of a kind tea reviewer”
