Spending the day drinking tea, and checking hurricane updates. We’re right on the path, should be here this evening. Right now it’s just driving rain and winds. And we still have power! If we go quiet, you’ll know why. Either way, should be able to make cups of tea I think because our stove isn’t electric.

I think Hobbits prefer shopping in Teavana, but I’m not sure why.

If we go quiet over the w/end it means we were affected by the hurricane. Most likely scenario: power outage, but tea cups crossed all will be well.

Wild fires, earthquake and now a hurricane. Plenty of things going on here since we got back.

Sprucing up the house and yard after having been away. Taking a short tea break while listening to Pete mow the lawn.

Well, the new marketplace opened and the earth moved but I don’t think the two things were related.

Pete made me my morning cups – with a little help from the Breville. It was nice to wake up to.

Time at last for some Putharjhora estate tea and perhaps a little piece of Lindt chocolate.

I’m still catching up with all the blogging that’s been going on while we were traveling. Where is this mountain you mentioned? The pics are great, looks like a fun place to hike. How come you’re out there at the moment?
As to the book you mentioned, I’ll have to look it up!

Indeed a wonderful company with great customer service, lovely teas and extremely good pricing. I’ve also felt tempted to shout out “buy their teas, why ever would you buy Darjeelings anywhere else?” Actually @lazyliteratus I know you’d already put an order in elsewhere, otherwise I’d have told you about them. When I looked at Lochan’s teas, […]

Hey everyone. Don’t forget to check up on what’s happening on the forum. @xavier posted quite a few interesting questions and topics on there. The thread about “unusual” tea producing countries is particularly interesting. The forum’s a great place to browse and discover new tea related posts, or share info with fellow Tea Traders. http://teatra.de/talk

The idea that tea is “diuretic” has long prevailed. I understand that this is not true. Just as well because I guess we all drink a lot of the “stuff.”

Thanks Rachel. Guess you won’t be wanting to stop by for a cuppa? 😉
Added to my shopping list: something to make tea when there is a hurricane. 🙂
