I did realize where this was headed, because I knew who Mr Sullivan was. Well, I’m sure there were several, but given the date, and the author of this mighty fine post,it could only be about Mr Bags […]

First of all thank you for the lovely compliments, which I admit have made my day. Well, my night.
Now on to those mysterious sightings. There is actually a scientific term for them, “ULMAJO” Unidentified […] -

This is a fascinating book @xavier linked to in a comment on the forum. Published in 1896, it was written by Joseph M. Walsh a tea importer in Philadelphia, and is very much worth a read, both for its historical […]

Adding to @peter‘s update -http://teatra.de/activity/p/13907/ – here’s a pic of the Australian product line. One thing is intriguing, in the interview Ms Noyes mentions that Twinings, Dilmah, Lipton are all rather “functional” in design, utilizing “colonial male branding” – Interesting, I’d never really thought of it that way. It reminded me of an…[Read more]

@xavier – I didn’t realize you posted some pretty amazing stuff here – I think they would actually best be single forum posts, filed under “Interesting Links”. Having them here under “old and new links’ […]

Since I’m on the roll with posting tea vids tonight, here’s one for the Guinness Book of Records. “World’s biggest tea cup.” It holds 4000 liters of tea. That’s over 1056 gallons. Not sure it’s exactly top notch tea, but there’s plenty to go round!

Hi – happy Saturday. I really liked @jopj‘s challenge to guess what she was drinking (http://scandaloustea.teatra.de/2011/10/30/what-am-i-drinking/) Am wondering if anyone else would like to do something like that? It’s both fun and interesting. And of course us Tea Traders are always up for a good challenge!

Sri Lanka: “Gigantic cup of tea”
Too much sugar and 5 hour brewing is a little long. Still, it’s not my cuppa that’s in the Guinness Book of Records is it?

I’m trying to work out a couple of kinks here, and I really need to eat dinner. Dinner! Yep, it’s been that kind of an evening. But rest assured, I have had “a nice cup of tea”

I’m around, just catching up and reading through all the new “friendships”. Don’t forget, best to look at your activity stream set to “all activity” so you don’t miss out on what’s being said.

It’s been a busy day, getting lots of things done, this time they weren’t Tea Trade related. Pity because Tea Trade is a lot more fun. Now it’s time to catch up with everyone. Was stoked to see @teaguy joined. Looking forward to chatting on here too.

Good morning! A flying visit – am going to have a quick cup of tea with a friend. I’m taking my own supply though, she doesn’t drink tea. Yet. I’m going to be working on it. Infiltrate from within, ha ha. See you all a bit later.

I’m not making any judgments about the efficiency of this Bodum tea (and something else) maker, I’m putting it on here because I love the design.

Here’s an update folks, for Pete who is testing something – my Nepalese tea blend is very cold and I must make some more.

That’s great! It appears to be working!
It’s a just a little magical feature addition that automatically refreshes the activity stream without needing to reload the activity page. Just leave the page open and Tea Trade will check for new activity every couple of minutes, when it finds something (update, blog post or comment), it will…[Read more]
