Well, a few of the books I’ve gone over have detailed countries’ attempts to internalize their tea industry (self-regulation instead of relying on world regulations/the London Tea Auctions in particular–mostly covered in “Tea Marketing Systems in Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka”), but nothing privatization in Cameroon.
A quick search does bring up an article on Cameroon’s prime tea garden (“Tole”), as well as articles on gendered studies of tea labourers in Cameroon and the rest of Africa, and an article on malaria in tea gardens.
