Paid $6 for 11 ounces of oolong tea from an international food supermarket here in town. It comes from the Wei-Chuan company (an importer) and turned out to make a really good cup of tea. We also got a pack of Tie Guan Yin for the same price. Was impressed with the quality of both teas. It just goes to show that good loose tea doesn’t have to be expensive.
Good finding.
I was digging around for a little more info on this company and saw that Alex Zorat reviewed some tea of theirs on his ratetea. However, he mentioned that (all?) their tea comes in tea bags, so it was the bagged version he looked at. The tea we have definitely isn’t the kind you can stuff into a sachet.
