I will have a couple of hours free in Paris tomorrow afternoon and I am planning to go in at least one tea shop.

Lucky you. Which one of the many will it be?

      • How nice. Not just the teashop but Paris! I suppose the shops will already be all decorated with Christmas lights and displays.

        • @jackie I don’t really know since I had one precise target before having to catch my night train to HH.
I went to the original Theodor teashop in the 16th arrondissement not “far” from the Eiffel Tower.
It is small but has a nice feeling with “old” mosaics on the top.
Before Theodor started there, it was a grocery and I have heard that it is a listed building.

I bought some Saint-Nicolas gifts and one tea for me.

Hmmm, one of the tea-shops I missed last year. Sounds good.

            • It is but I only knew it because Guillaume Leleu told me about it and the blog La Théière Nomade spoke a bit about it.
But I think it is in the new book about tea in French.

By the way @bram next time you go to Paris, PM me before.
If I am available, I might come (I am only 1h30 away from Paris by TGV).

I’ll remember that. But I’m not much in Paris. Was there for 2 weeks last year and that was the first time in more than ten years. But I have a feeling that I want to go back to visit all those closed tea shops (it was August)…

          • What tea did you buy for yourself @xavier? Your visit sounded really nice. And now HH. Big change. J’avoue que je préfère Paris.

            • I won’t comment on that one.
For myself? Saïgon but mostly because the tea cans were the old ones and were really nice (simple and adventurous).
