We’re familiar with Chinese and Indian teas being exported to us here in the US and of course the UK, but did you know that tea grown in England is also exported to India and China? The Tregothnan tea estate in Cornwall England – the UK’s only commercially run estate – exports nearly 50% off its tea. Looks like it’s not just the British tea ceremony that’s popular abroad but their tea leaves too. When’s our tea going off to China? Perhaps it does already?

I visited Tregothnan. It’s harder to get to that most of the Chinese or Indian estates.
