"Indian tea pickers push for better wages"

Notoriously underpaid – even in India $2 is nowhere near enough to live reasonably comfortably – tea pickers are now organizing themselves to push for higher wages. While strikes have so far only resulted in modest increases, there is increased awareness of the pickers’ plight:
