Does anyone know if it is possible to grow a Camellia sinensis inside a house?

Xavier, how about posting this on http://teaquestions.org? Seems like a good place for such a question.

Xavier I found this article sited in 2 different articles on the web.
      Hope it helps
I had sent a tea plant to a friend once but it did not do well
They say Zone 8 (mid-west/south) has the best climate for growing and if growing a plant in other areas they suggest a greenhouse.

@jopj thanks for the link it made for interesting reading. Here’s also an article on how to grow Camellia Sinensis from a cutting. I suppose you’ll want to start from seeds Xavier, but I was also interested in reading whether it was possible from a cutting.

      Thanks for the tips.
I am a bit surprised by this 0° thing as in Himalayas and China, temperatures can be cooler than that or am I wrong?
