…could be on the market if “things go as planned.” Currently in development by University of New Hampshire neuroscience student Laura Van Beaver, will this tea be the new (expensive) hot drink of the future? Clever idea, even though de-caffeinated tea is not for me. Not just because of the dull taste, but because I like the little kick the leaves give me. Perhaps I’d go for the super-caffeine version mentioned at the end of the article. That aside, genetically modified tea doesn’t sound instantly appealing. Anyway, interesting story and always good to see Dan Bolton chiming in there too.

I know that the human beings have done that for centuries but the focus on genome is somehow disturbing.
