Familiar with QTrade (Teas)? It’s currently North America’s largest importer of organic teas. Things seem to be going well for this company, as they look forward to opening their new manufacturing plant in Cerritos, California on July 16th. This new facility will carry over “three million pounds of inventory” which I suppose means tea, unless they’re weighing in their machines here too. Either way, the new premises will enable QTrade to blend and pack up 40,000 pounds of speciality tea every day. Obviously QTrade is well aware of industry expectations predicting in excess of $5 billion in retail sales by next year.
