      The International Organization of Standardization, something we’ve all occasionally seen as ISO, or ISO-Certified issued a standardized document on the science of making tea back 1980.

      It appears to have originated in Britain (of course), but was written to standardize the method for preparing tea for accurate taste testing. Fascinating stuff really…
      Wikipedia reports that in 1999 it won the Ig Nobel Prize….
      It costs $50US to buy a copy of it, but a little google-fu found one online at the University of Surry. Interesting reading, do you think you can make the perfect cup of tea?
