Site-Wide Activity › Forums › Tea News and Information › French tea companies and profitability
I just read in L’Expansion, a French monthly business magazine, a ranking of the most profitable French companies.
And in them, you find two tea companies: Le Palais des Thés (62th) and Kusmi Tea (121st).
What is also interesting is the way they described their activity. The first one is in the tea industry and the other in the luxury tea industry.
🙂
Why these 2 and not, for example, Mariage Freres?
Or Théodor?
The magazine selected 8,000 companies filling specific criterion:
– Turnover in 2012 of more than 10 million euros,
– More than a 20% increase in their turnover between 2008 and 2012,
– Minimal profitability of 3%,
– Not to belong to a big company (10% of the shares must be in the hands of the “CEO”).
These companies were then sent a file to fill.
