Site-Wide Activity › Forums › Tea Conversations › 蟲屎茶 anyone? Post by Austin Yoder about the finest Insect Feces Tea
This is the sort of post @lahikmajoe and @lazyliteratus might fully appreciate. At least I thought of you guys right away. Anyway, Austin an old twitter acquaintance wrote a blog post about an insect feces tea that I totally missed. Perhaps 虫屎茶 looks better. That’s Japanese. Austin’s translation didn’t come up in Google. I think it’s Taiwanese but I don’t know. Either way, I have to say, in the category “Teas you might not have ever heard of” it certainly stands out. Just don’t invite me for tea Austin. I’m not going to trust what’s in your pot:

I have found one place that sells the insect feces tea. http://www.grandtea.com/Chong-Cha-Worm-Tea-50-gram-p-240.html
Actually, correction. It was @teachange who brought it to my attention.
