I could not be happier for you. So much joy. You deserve every ounce of success and happiness. I am sad to miss out on the fun but will be with you all in spirit.

Awww shucks. Missed AGAIN. The oldest had his last chess club night of the year tonight and he really wanted to go. Hope you all are doing well.
“If you return to restaurants where there is not good tea, you are part of the problem.”
Sorry. I’m not willing to give up eating out altogether and I fear that living by the above credo would require it around here.
Aarghh. I hate those interactions, when you are treated so poorly and then the person acts as if YOU are the problem. So sorry your date went so awry.
Hahaha. “Can’t see what the other one is, but it’s better.” Ah, Robert, always adding to the conversation.
A good book and tea sounds just about perfect. Lately I’ve been reading up a storm and it’s always more […]
The rest of us can’t help that your weather is wrong there.
Honestly, it is a given in our part of the world that the weather will consumer most conversations. People often remark that without the weather, […]
For those moments when the soul needs healing: http://teapages.teatra.de/2013/03/29/tea-for-the-soul/
Must be spring cleaning time. I’m in the same mode. I realized that it has been far too long since I actually PURCHASED tea that I want. I’m always sipping through gifts and samples and things people want me to […]

I do put my ceramic pots, my tea traveler, and some glassware in the dishwasher. Anything clay (like my yixing pots and my kyuusu) aren’t allowed within 30 feet of the thing.
Congrats on reaching the 150 mark. […]
Yes, the night was as you expected. Hoping we’re almost through it by now. UGH! I hope you’re finally feeling better.
An excellent assessment, Bram. I find it fascinating to analyze all of the factors and impacts of such a seemingly simple choice as cup.
Ah, now I understand. The dark cup versus light cup make a great deal of sense. I reserve my dark cups for coffee. (Yes, coffee.)
Yes @iheartteas, I believe we sat together when I crashed the class.
@jackie – Interesting that you mentioned color as a factor. Thickness would certainly affect the experience of the actual tea as it has an […]
As someone with three little ones (as well as a four-legged furry one) running around my house, adding constant interruption to my tea-making, I have come to appreciate those teas that are tolerant of my […]
I’m learning to just duck and cover and know that this too shall pass.
