I’m so tired of being overworked. My average weekly clock rate is between 65 and 70 since February. No sign of letting up.
I’m starting to hit the pavement. I’d love to work in the tea industry. But as a technology and platform architect, it looks like there’s not much currently out there.
If anyone knowns anyone looking to hire on the technology architecture scene, please do connect me.

Technology architecture? Like in informatics and software?
That would be correct sir.
My primary focus has been in Java EE and .Net middleware and integration product work. I’d like to move forward to an architecture or management roll.
You might not like management. They are talkers with lots of time out for lunch. Nothing gets done. If that is you, then I am wrong as you would be good manager. If you are doer, mind bending and becoming one with troubleshooting until problem is resolved than management is not for you.
I always equate management with Animal Farm, or that book the Art of war, zen like managment.
I currently have two friends accept on Tea Trade and I am leaving it at that. I am too opinioned and not well founded; I tend to just response without getting factual down right.
Regarding employment opportunities in the Tea retail end…David’s Tea of Canada is opening stores in New York and several other states; I remember receiving some notice from them. They opened a new store in New York just last month and are from Canada originally, I think. You might try to look them up. Good luck in all and happy tea! Have a wonderful day!
Good luck.
