I agree it’s still worth the read. As the chapters progress she becomes more organized, leaving the repetition with endnotes the only large complaint I have. Because otherwise, the book’s really interesting.
I think it’s definitely a useful book to read. The first few chapters start out a bit confused (I guess as she tries to establish a beginning point), but it’s getting better organized and easier to follow as the […]
Google Scholar helps a LOT, yeah. And Google Books has a good number of excerpts.
I didn’t see a post about it yet. Happened a little over a week ago:

Currently reading The Tea Road: China and Russia Meet Across the Steppe. Probable initial blogpost to come.
It’s good to see you posting again; I’ve been pining since I completely missed Life in Teacup’s spring preorders. Which is probably all as well, since I never know what I want (chronically indecisive […]
As stated, I assume it’s just a concept. The site is a resume of different concepts by the looks of it.
Seemed like something worth posting. Just a concept. Learn more from the designer here.
Called it.
@supermoon10 Is this their new tea? Cleverly worded ad.
@jackie Twitter and the linked Facebook.
Was going to put in an order at Andrew and Dunham’s last week, but saw the post they made on the 7th, so I decided to wait. It looks like it’s paying off, because they made another cryptic post today… There’s a new tea steeping, I can smell it.
Where did you see their cryptic posts @supermoon10?

I clicked for the US tea farms, but I jumped on the “Canada” link at the end.
@teapages They’re a company I’ve wanted to try for a while, so SOKO was a pretty awesome find (although they don’t know that I know where they source their tea; I feel like a master sleuth).
I’ll probably pick up […]
@happygaiwan The worst (or best) part is that all of my extracurriculars are clustered on Friday. I go from class directly to tea club, cut tea club short to go to swing dancing, then immediately leave after swing […]
@jackie It’s a really great little shop. We need more like it. My current part-time job has been stirring up a bit of drama lately, so I’d really appreciate the change.
As for the tea club–thus far, we’ve sipped […]
@thedevotea I tend to pair it with books, snacks or more tea as well, however I find it goes surprisingly well with swing.
@xavier That it is.
@supermoon10 – cold sounds bad, continuous stream of tea sounds good! Hope you feel better soon.
