I look at tea like fine wine or a quality cigar, although I do not drink or smoke cigars. I am a daily tea drinker and am enjoying the learning process.

Some of my hobbies include gardening, essential oil therapy, natural perfumery with essential oils, and cooking.

I try to rate teas fairly based on first the overall quality of a tea over my own personal taste. I always try to notate when something is not to my liking and why so that you can tell if it is simply a flavor I am not partial to or if in fact I usually love a flavor but not in the tea I am reviewing.

I look for complexity overall in any tea, dimensions to the flavors.

I believe tea should evoke a feeling, thought, emotion, or attitude.

Currently my tea passions are pu-erh and matcha!
My favorite all time tea is Dong Ding Oolong.
I enjoy most all oolongs, blacks, whites, and greens.
I always love to try a good yellow tea.
While I do love flavored teas if they are good obviously, I am finding that I am skimming away from them at this time focusing more on unadulterated teas.
I mix my own healing herbal teas when I have time and materials.
I have found I really enjoy green rooibos but am tiring of red rooibos.
