Gearing up for my trip to the UK. Can’t wait to spend a couple solid weeks working and having a great time!
You’re not going near Brighton are you? Teaching young Brits how to make a fine cuppa? : P
Haha, not exactly near Brighton. I’ll primarily be in Royal Leamington Spa (near Birmingham), then a day in Norwich, a couple days in and around Chelmsford and Colchester, a few days in Edinburgh (and 1 in Stirling), then last day in London before heading home.
That reminds me of @robmarch – he’s in Edinburgh. He was using some very strange word yesterday: ”craic”! Better learn that if you want to speak like a native ha ha.

As a sidebar, if @robmarch wants to meet up for a cuppa while I’m in Edinburgh, I’d be down!
Aye, I’d be up for that if I’m around. When are you here?
Will be in Edinburgh 4/6 – 7/6, with a day trip to Stirling on 5/6. At this point, I literally have no specific times for my plans, so will be free whenever. Have a few friends in the area to meet up with, but don’t know their schedules yet.
Cool, I’m off home to Manchester sometime round the start of June but I should still be in Edinburgh the 4th if you’re free?
I’ll be arriving the 4th, not sure exactly what time yet. Though I do need to check into my hostel by 15:00, so sometime after that would work for me!
@peter and I’ve been to Edinburgh, had a great time there. Pete was quite quick at picking up the foreign language
Have fun!
Thanks to @kaylotta for gracing this blog with her presence, I have a feeling she’s going to be a better writer than me fairly soon.
